Letter to Editor: Worried About Sheriff & Public Safety

   Can You Hear Me Now?

 Dear Editor:

     I live in the Ebbetts Pass corridor, and am an avid reader of the Sentinel. I believe that the Sentinel should take a look at the Sheriff's department, and what the real reasons why Supervisors Callaway and Tryon are opposed and try to block additional money going to them.

     Would you ask and investigate all of the things I think are wrong down there? I am writing them in a separate letter I will send in a few days. Rumors in Ebbetts Pass are rampant. Only the Sierra Sentinel would dare to take on such questions.
