Debbie Ponte then weighed in with: "I wouldn't miss it – in fact I have never missed a Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee since my family moved to Angels Camp in 1969! Even while attending college I would make it back home to go on the weekends.
I will not have a booth at the fair as I want to be out and about walking around. I will be participating in some events and visiting throughout all four days. Keep an eye out for me at The Derby on Sunday night!"
Mike Dell'Orto replied that he is going to "try and get there tonight and Sunday between hospital visits, sign placements, sidewalk alterations and work."
Gary Tofanelli, incumbent Supervisor of District 1, replied to our question of whether or not you are going to the Fair this weekend: "Yes, I will be attending the fair on several days."
Tom Tryon, incumbent candidate for District 4 Supervisor had a one word answer "Yes!"
