Mike Dell'Orto, candidate for District 2 Supervisor, responded to our question about whether he supports the Brown Act. He states: "The Brown Act or open meeting act is intended to cause actions and discussions made by public agency (other that the State Legislature) boards to be made in public.
For a majority of an agency Board (ie: Supervisors) to be present at an event does not constitute a Brown Act Violation unless they discuss a pending Board topic together.
