General Plan Wastes Millions?

   The General Plan! Oh, the General Plan! Touted by the environmentalist extremists as the answer to all of our problems. Are they kidding, or what!

This General PLan, with its original $1.2 million dollar price tag, TEN YEAR LATER, is the worst looking document we have seen in the history of this County.
   The price tag keeps going up, since the consultants hired never came close to finishing and walked off with our $1.2 million.

   Now the Supervisors running for re-election are repeatedly stating it is the answer to everything, that all of our problems will be solved after we spend at least another million of our own staff time writing in everything the enviro groups want, in order to stop all growth, jobs, and build a welfare based economy. 

   First of all, Calaveras County has less than 50,000 in population, which means that we ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WRITE A GENERAL PLAN at all. The enviro groups have raised outside money to influence three anti-job pro-welfare Supervisors that it is the best thing since sliced bread.  IT IS NOT!

If you don't believe us, look up the law about General Plans! Our tax money at work, for the benefit of jobs for the extremist liberal Supervisors supporters is what it actually is in fact. We consider this to be corruption of the worst and the CLUSTERING to increase crime and house the poor. VOTE OUR THE INCUMBENTS!!  Bring back sanity to Calaveras County!
