In every election, advertising dollars are spent on having signs made, and getting candidates names and faces in the news.
In fact, voters tell us that they are heavily influenced by a candidates signs, even before they meet the candidate themselves.
In each District Supervisorial election this time, we have heard many comments about how certain signs are influencing voters.
Voters do believe that the way you are perceived is the way you are, and will often cast their vote, in part at least, based on that perception.
