The City of Angels Camp held a hearing to change zoning on a whole bunch of parcels at the recent City County meeting. David Hanham, Planning Director was immediately attacked verbally by angry citizens who had reported errors, been told their zoning would not change, and trying to change the zoning after a project had been approved by the City.
If you own a parcel of land in Angels Camp, you had better check, because now people are saying they may be changing zoning without telling anyone. This can and will affect your property value. Call the City and ask.
The City Council ordered it postponed until the errors in even parcel #'s could be straightened out. Why does the City allow these things to happen? If these property owners had been more trusting in the City, the City would have gotten away with it.
