No Golf Courses?

People who play golf have been wanting to move to Calaveras County for their retirement for many years. We even have a beautiful golf course that is covered with snow for months of the year.
Forty-eight counties in California welcome golf course on agricultural land. So what is the reason that Tryon is now seeming to "be in bed" with the Callaway/Wilensky  enviros, who want no golf courses.
We believe the reason is totally jealousy and  the fact that most of them are simply NIMBY'S! (Not In My BackYard) anti-growther's, anti-job, anti-business, anti just about everything.
Now the beautiful, acclaimed golf course called Trinitas, which could have been a source of tourist dollars and jobs, not to mention a jewel in the middle of wasteland may go back to the way it was.
What do you think? Have you seen this gorgeous green creation? Is any Supervisorial candidate who states that they wouldn't have found a way to encourage this project forward, worth the clay that lies beneath the rich soil now placed on the ground of Trinitas?
