Tryon Anti-Property Rights?

In an adamant statement at a recent debate, Supervisor Tom Tryon indicated that he didn't feel that there could ever be a golf course approved at Trinitas, due to environmental issues contained in his new General Plan.
Tryons' severe move from Libertarian property-rights advocate to a Republican anti-property rights stance (except for his own property) is shocking.
How can anyone respect or vote for an elected official who talks out of both sides of his mouth? Will the Democrat enviro's trust and vote for him? What is the truth?
Voters are seeking a fresh face, new ideas and integrity for the future. Cast your vote wisely.
