Arrest for Burglary at Treats General Store in San Andreas

     On Sunday June 17, 2012 at around 4:30 PM, Calaveras County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the Treats General Store in San Andreas for a report of an intoxicated male who was suspected of
shoplifting alcohol and fleeing in a vehicle.

     Deputies were provided a description of the suspect, license plate number and vehicle description, and located the vehicle, tracing the registered owner back to an apartment in San Andreas at 441 E. St. Charles.

     Deputies located Bobby Sanders (46) who matched the description of the suspect, as well as items that were suspected stolen from the store.

     During the investigation, Sanders reportedly became uncooperative and an altercation ensued  between Sanders and the deputies. Sanders had to be tasered to affect an arrest.

     Sanders  was arrested for burglary, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail.
