Knowing how this Board of Supervisors treated several of their own Department heads last year, we expect it to be even worse this year, as property values have again declined, decreasing their spending habits severely. And the public feels that they have picked our pockets clean.
Beginning on Wednesday, June 12, after what is scheduled as only a half-hour study session on re-arranging the agenda, Budget discussions begin, supposedly at 2:30 PM and then running from June 13 through 15 at the Sequoia Room at CalWorks, beginning at 9 AM.
We expect fireworks, so if you can't be present, be sure to watch it on channel 9 on Comcast.
