Greece Elects Conservative President

What Do Greece & Calaveras County Have In Common?

Well, as a surprise to many, the Greek voters have elected a conservative President, who will continue the austerity measures in that country.
There is still fear that Greece could default on its loans, since the country relies heavily on tourism for it's revenue.
We hear talk that they are a comparison to Calaveras County, who is desperately trying to raise fees and other taxes because our elected officials believe that tourism is the only economy Calaveras County residents need to exist.
Will Calaveras County end up like Greece, with all the loans our Supervisors have against the property the county owns, and not be able to raise more and more taxes and fees against the people.
They discourage real business with the good jobs families need to take care of their children, and keep making new and higher fees, charges and taxes against residents and businesses in order to keep from cutting their government spending back.
