Today, June 14 is flag day. Don't forget to fly yours if you have one.
Adopted as the anniversary of the day the first U.S. flag was adopted, it began as its own day in the late 1800's when a teacher wanted his pupils to learn more about our flag, and then became official in the early 1900's.
