After at least 14 years of apparent cover-up by the University of Pennsylvania Administration, the jury announced that Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno's Assistant Football Coach was guilty of 45 counts of child rape, molestation and other crimes against children he was supposedly helping in a non-profit he founded.
The anger which we heard on television regarding the cover-up, in order to protect a football team, was encouraging authorities to now go after those who helped Sandusky by not reporting what they knew was going on for all those years.
What lengths some will go to in order to allow such things to go on, shows the power of the sport of football, which is big money to these Universities. "At least now we know that the children," the Attorney General of Pennsylvania said," will be believed in the state of Pennsylvania."
