Letter to the Editor: What's Going on at Murphys Sanitary District?

 Dear Editor:

     After reading the articles in the Sierra Sentinel about what's been going on at Murphys Sanitary District, I have to say that I'm appalled that
it has taken this long to be made public.

     Are the MSD Board members on the Board to help the ratepayers or themselves. And I want to know more about the "improper" personal relationship between employees. Were  these employees discharged? 

    Will the Board of Directors make everything public, and demand that one Board member that I agree with you, has to resign? Too many personal favors, conflicts of interest, etc.

    Also, it seems to me that Julio Guerra, the General Manager, is doing an excellent job trying to clean up the mess and TRAIN THE BOARD on proper behavior.  He's a keeper. 

   I understand that Kett was appointed to that Board by the Board of Supervisors. He has experience and should be a good board member. They need some professional and business-like guidance.
