Oscar Louis Vega, 52, of Valley Springs, passed away quietly on June 2, 2012 at his home in Valley Springs.
Born on January 24, 1960 in Oakland, he graduated from Moreau High School in 1978 and worked as a professional plumber for many years.
Mr. Vega had a great love for his sons and family, enjoyed gardening and fishing, touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Oscar Vega Sr. and his sister, Kathleen King.
He is survived by his sons, Philip and Tony Vega of Dublin, his wife Karen Vega of Dublin, mother and stepfather, Adela and A.D. Hawkins of Modesto, grandmother, Margaret Bustos of Richmond, sister Margaret Vega of Pleasanton, stepbrother Adams Hawkins of San Diego and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on June 23, 2012 at St Andrews Catholic Church in San Andreas at 1 PM.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

I miss you dad and love you so much. Not a day goes by where I don't think of you, rest in Peace. You were the best father anyone could ever ask for. If anyone reads this please tell your Parents how much you love them I wish I could have said it more to my dad.
