Phyllis Ann Sola Crawford

     Phyliss Ann Sola Crawford died June 8, 2012 at her home in Angels Camp. She was 72 years old and a fourth generation resident of Angels Camp.
     Mrs. Crawfold was born July 2, 1939 at Bonnie Baratono's Maternity Home in Angels Camp. She was the only child of Marjorie and Alfred Sola.
     She was educated at Copperopolis and Angels Camp Grammar Schools, Bret Harte High School Class of 1957, and Humphreys College in Stockton.
     She was an aide at Michelson and Mark Twain Elementary Schools, clerk at Altaville Drug Store, and retired from Mark Twain St. Joseph's Hospital as Director of Marketing and Public Relations.
     Mr. Crawford never met a stranger. She was always a dynamic and positive person and a friend to all. She enjoyed camping, gardening, music and planning and decorating special events. An aura of happiness always surrounded her.
      She is survived by her sons William C. Crawford Jr. (Leslie) of Atascadero, Chris " Slim" (Kamy) Crawford and Todd (Candice Hann) of Angels Camp, grandchildren Rhiannon Anzar of Jamestown, Courtney and Sydney Crawford of Atascadero, Rick Crawford of Sacramento, and Gilbert Patterson of Angels Camp, and a great grandchild Lyndsie Anzar of Jamestown. She is also survived by cousins Yvonne Tiscornia of San Andreas, Barbara Friend of Encinitas, and Nancy Griffanti of Lodi and in-laws Doralie and George Crawford Sr., niece Deborah Griffin, and nephew George Crawford, Jr. , all of Stockton.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years William Ca. Crawford Sr. and her parents Marge and Al Sola.
     A rosary will be held Friday June 15, 2012 at 7 PM at Angels Memorial  Chapel in Angels Camp.  A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday June 16, 2012 at 1 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Angels Camp.
