It will have been three solid weeks since the Board of Supervisors of Calaveras County met and there are 18 items just on the consent agenda for this Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
Wow! One of the items on the Consent Agenda this coming Tuesday is a whopper of a lease agreement between the County of Calaveras and Bruno Investments for the Behavioral Health Annex located at 373 West Saint Charles Street in San Andreas. The rent is $5250 a month.
We questioned one Supervisor as to whether this is the entire CalWorks Building or what and have received no reply. The consent agenda items are supposed to be non-controversial! In this economy, will no one pull it for discussion?
Also on the agenda is a resolution extending the contracts with the Calaveras County Deputy Sheriffs Association (DSA) and the Sheriff's Management Unit (SMU) from July 2, 2011 to December 31, 2012.
