Supervisors Callaway and Wilensky: No More Cops! Because They'll Make More Arrests......

     During the agendized budget approval Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Meeting Tuesday June 26, 2012, many members of the public requested they fund the Sheriff's Department fully,
and give them more men.

    This is because crime is so rampant in Calaveras County, especially burglaries and other theft of residents and businesses.

    First, Supervisor Callaway stated that if we hire more cops, that they would arrest more suspects, and then we would need to hire more District Attorneys, and then more Public Defenders......HUH! She made it perfectly clear she is against that idea.

    Then Supervisor Wilensky stated that the only reason the majority of these people commit crimes is because they are drug addicts, alcohol addicts and illiterate. Another HUH!

    Let's see now. We, the law-abiding, tax paying and working people,  forced drugs into these poor souls' mouths and up their noses and so we should have to pay.  He says instead of law enforcement we should put all that money into helping all of these poor people; the fact that many dropped out of school because they were too lazy is also our fault.

    So, to evaluate Callaway and Wilensky's budget ideas, keep money from the Sheriff's Department and put it into more PROGRAMS which keep the druggies and thieves out of jail so that they can continue STEALING from us. Are you sick of this lliberal preaching from these two? We are!

    We have watched many of these so-called "innocent victims" Callaway and Wilensky speak of. They go through program after program, get probation instead of jail time (all on our tax dollars), and are turned back on to the public to drink, drug, steal and commit mayhem on the taxpayers.
