The Calaveras County Sheriff's office was notified Thursday, July 19, 2012, that 11 drivers licenses were found by a contract postal carrier in one mailbox.
Sgt. Chris Hewitt of the Sheriff's Department said when something like that happens, they usually turn them over to the DMV, who can trace the owners.

It always seems suspicious, as if someone was perhaps using them to steal identities.
