Jinrong Jzhang, 62 of Berkeley, was traveling eastbound on Hwy 4 at approximately 50 mph. On a curve in the roadway Zhang allowed his vehicle to drift to the right, where it went off the asphalt roadway and onto the soft dirt shoulder.
After losing control of the vehicle he over corrected back to the left, and the vehicle
veered back onto the roadway, crossing into the westbound lane before steering the vehicle back to the right.
The vehicle broke traction and began to slide sideways off the roadway, to the south of Hwy 4, where it struck the dirt bank and rolled over onto its roof and coming to rest on its left side.
Jzhang and his passenger, Jian Wang, 62 also of Berkeley were transported to Mark Twain Hospital with minor injuries.
