Another Deer in the Roadway

   At around 1 PM on Tuesday July 17, a deer was reported in the roadway at Hwy 4 and Live Oak Drive in Angels Camp.

   CHP has cleared the scene. Motorists need to be aware that deer are out looking for water as it is such a dry year. They become confused when wandering onto a Hwy.

  A fawn that was injured and taken to the vet yesterday did not survive.   Be more cautious than usual while driving. Remember, this is their country, too!
