Board Of Supervisors Meets Tuesday, July 24 at 9 AM

   You will be able to attend a Calaveras County Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 9 AM, but you will only be allowed to speak if all of the Supervisors department heads and friends around the county don't take up the only 1/2 hour the public is now given at the beginning of the meetings.

  Tofanelli, Tryon and Wilensky are very nervous and have tough run-off
campaigns this November and they did this specifically to try and prevent all the criticism they were receiving for their bad votes and policies at every meeting.

   Their first move was to cut their workload in half, by voting to change the code so they only have to face the public twice a month. Often three weeks goes by where they can avoid public criticism.

   Then they held a study session where even the spokesperson for mvs.com says they did not allow public comment on this issue properly.

    This is all about their trying to get re-elected. Often officials will pass any law, do absolutely anything to stay in power.
