Dog Problems in Ebbetts Pass Growing

Every day we hear about problems with owners who don't take care of or control their pets in Calaveras County.
In part, the economy has made the problem worse, as people without work, often simply abandon their animals when
they move.
Barking and roaming dogs at night are also a continuing problem, and a report of a barking dog on Pine Drive in Arnold draws attention to the lack of help at Animal Services.
If you can afford to take in one more pet, please do so. There are so many who need homes, and if you live in Ebbetts Pass and find a homeless pet, please turn it in to animal service so it will have a chance to find a home.
