On Tuesday, July 17, 2012 around 2:20 PM, Cal Fire was called to a fire reported on Green Springs Road in Tuolumne County.
A Columbia Air Attack helicopter and tanker, San Andreas, Twain Harte, Blanchard, Copperopolis, Green Springs, Goveland, Sierra Center and Madera-Mariposa-Merced Units responded and the fire was limited to 6 acres of grass and vegetation, valued at $1200.
An investigation into what caused the fire is ongoing.
