Letter to Editor: Post Offices



  Dear Editor:

   Why is the public so gullible as to believe what the postal workers' union ads say? This is not the 1940's, when we were totally dependent on the Post Offices.

   This union, the APWU, I believe, is the

reason the post offices lose money. They want to give every mailman their own Post Office.

     Because of this union's power, we now have way too many postal workers and way too many postmasters and,  I think they get way too much money, benefits and retirement.

   Put a contract worker in the little post offices. It saves money and they are so polite and treat you better than most of the union workers.

    What is the union going to do next, call a strike. That would just allow an opening for UPS or FedEx to apply to run the system, and that's what it needs.
