Thirsty Mountain Lion, Not in MY Pond!!

     Calaveras County Sheriff's Department received a complaint that a mountain lion is drinking at their pond frequently on Hwy 26 in West Point. How dare they drink from my pond!!

   The Sheriff's Office referred it to Fish and Game, and we all know what they like to do. Hunt and kill, hunt and kill until it's dead. 

    All because there isn't enough water this year for the wild animals to survive on. How is that mountain lion, who doesn't seem to be trying to kill them, supposed to know that a pond is not a safe place to get a drink of water.

   Our opinion is that they should be taking as many pictures of the beautiful creature as they can, because before too long, they too, will be extinct.

   If you move to the foothills or the mountains and are afraid of the wild critters, you don't belong here. Move back to the city. Don't try and kill off every animal that moves!
