Letter to the Editor: A Little Advice
Dear Sentinel:
I have a little advice for the Democrats. Of course, they most likely won't have the infighting because they already know who their candidates are, but...be careful of OPEN MICS!
Also, do not invite Clint Eastwood. Nice guy, good actor, but changes the script on you!
And don't be embarrassed about your platform. Hiding it just makes people more leery of you.
One more thing. If someone pisses off the first lady, keep the cameras off of her. My last impression of Ann Romney is the look on her face after Eastwood finished.

Chips Firefighter Rescues Baby Bobcat
As of August 29, 2012 the Chips fire, which in now a month old, has consumed 74, 125 acres, but is now 87% contained.
Hot Shot Crews are trying to contain a slow western progression of the fire by digging, clearing and moving large rocks in rugged forest with steep terrain.
The best story of the day is about a firefighter named Tad Hair, who spotted a baby bobcat
