Two different reports of cruelty to animals involving dogs locked in cars were received by the Calaveras County Sheriff's office on late Friday afternoon, August 3, 2012.One was in Murphys and one was in West Point. No one was charged in either case, but its good when concerned citizens report this on warm days.
