A fire was reported in Jenny Lind on Monday, August 6, 2012 around 12:30 PM in the 7700 block of Warren Road in Jenny Lind.CalFire units from Jenny Lind and Valley Springs responded to a fire that had been caused by a lawnmower in dry grass. More than likely the blade hit a rock and a spark started the fire.
The fire was quickly brought into containment and limited to 1/4 acre of grass and vegetation.
