Letter to the Editor about Illegal Shooting

   Dear Editor:
All over the U.S. people are talking about how easy it was for the man in Aurora to get the weapons he bought to kill all those people.
And everyday, we see illegal shooting reports in Calaveras County.  While the NRA may say that all guns and shooting is wonderful, I beg to differ.
If other people in the theater that night had guns, there would even have been more carnage than there was. The initial shooter had a protective vest on. Many others would have been in the line of fire while shooters in the audience tried to shoot the bad guy.
We have an illegal shooting place in Ebbetts Pass;  Candy Rock it's called. There have been repeated attempts to have this residential area to shoot,  closed without success. Is this because the National Forest Service is friends with the shooters? And what about our Sheriff?
They need to find someone who will build an indoor shooting range, and protect the citizens from those who shoot outside of it.
The Forest Service is so worried about harassing residents about other things, that they neglect the important things. CLOSE CANDY ROCK!

ARREST the people who shoot freely anywhere they please, putting many of our lives in danger.
There is even one of them who is clearly a criminal, making threats to women, many of whom I know personally. He's a coward to threaten the men!  Arrest him. Put him in jail. And the Sheriff knows exactly who I'm talking about.
I'm going to spread it all over Ebbetts Pass who the Sheriff is protecting and why. if he does nothing.
CLOSE CANDY ROCK!   ARREST THE CRIMINALS!
Sick of the Illegal Shooting in Ebbetts Pass
