Letter to the Editor: About Public Apology

   Dear Editor:

   I've been waiting to hear the Calaveras Humane Society come out and publicy apologize for their playing politics with the dogs and bear abuse bill.

   But no, you are so right. If Callaway tells them it might hurt her reputation if they come out and admit that they stayed quiet, then all **** would break loose.

   Any organization that is supposed to care about animals, but shuts up because an elected official tells them to is beneath comtempt in my book.

   I will not buy any of their junk at the stores they market. I will not donate. And I am so sick of a supervisor who hates dogs and bears that much.

   State of California Assembly. Pass SB 1221.  Do the right thing, even if these disgusting low life politicians and so-called animal lovers in Calaveras County won't.
