As of August 21, 2012 at 9:50 PM the Ponderosa Fire in Tehama and Shasta Counties is 21,506 with 40% containment.50 structures have been destroyed and 200 more are threatened. Massive evacuations are taking place in Manton and surrounding areas. Schools are closed until further notice.
