Rush Fire Near Ravendale
As of August 24, 2012 at noon, the Rush Fire, which is on mostly BLM land has burned an area 16 miles wide and 42 miles long, all east of Hwy 395.
Sparked by lightning on August 12, 2012, the number of acres burned is 320,793, 40,000 acres of which are in Nevada. The fire is 61% contained.
