Two Arnold Men Arrested

    On August 2, 2012 detectives from the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at the 1900 block of Tamarack Drive in Arnold.

     The search warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation of several burglaries in the area.
     During the service of the search warrant items believed to be stolen from at least three separate residential burglaries were discovered.

   These items included  household items, alcoholic beverages, firearms and tools.
   The burglaries associated with the recovered stolen property occurred in the Arnold area and were reported withing the last 30 days.

   As a result of the search warrant two adult males were arrested and booked into the Calaveras County jail.

Brayden Beaumont Griffin, (22),  of Arnold, was arrested on August 2, 2012 for First Degree Burglary and grand theft of a firearm.

   Eric Scott Schroeder, (24) of the same Arnold address, was booked on Possession of Stolen Property, Residential burglary and Resisting or obstructing a peace officer.  Additional charges not related to the burglary cases included Violation of a protective Order, Damaging a telephone line and burglary.

   The investigation is ongoing with additional information being released as it develops.
