According the the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department, James Alexander Qualls and Jackalynn Rose Ratkowski were arrested at their residence on August 22, 2012 for allegedly being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance and Willful Cruelty to a Child, both misdemeanors.
They were both booked into the Calaveras County Jail and then released with citiations.
