According to the CHP, Loretta J. Lower, 51, of Valley Springs, was driving her 2000 Chevrolet east on Lime Creek Rd at an unknown speed.
She allowed her vehicle to drift to the right, off the road where it impacted the support wire to a telephone pole.
The vehicle then impacted the pole and became airborne, coming to rest on its roof, trapping Lower in the passenger compartment.
Fire Department personnel used the Jaws of Life to extricate her from her vehicle and she was flown from the scene to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with moderate injuries.
