Wood, Weather and Antiques at Gallery

   An opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 1 to 3 for the Gallery Calaveras exhibit entitled Wood, Weather & Antiques.

   Imagine painters, sculptors, potters, wood workers, photographers and mixed media artists busy in their studios and on location creating what is conjured by this thought-provoking theme.

   This show is sure to inspire a wide variety of subjects and media.. Experience visions of awesome ancient artifacts rendered with strokes of brushes, pens and paint to mother nature's grainy wood itself, finely crafted into functional works of art brought to life through the hands of passionate souls.

   Art lovers, this is your invitation to the opening reception on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 1 to 3 PM, where you will commune with the artits and enjoy delicious refreshments and live music.

   The show will be hanging through November 3.

     Be sure to save  the weekend of September 29 and 30 for the 2012 Artists Studio Tour. Close to 30 artista will be participating at 13 studio locations throughout the beautiful Calaveras Sierra Foothill communities we call home.
