A call was made to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Department from the VFW Hall on W. St. Charles Street in San Andreas, that someone appeared to be trying to break in to the abandoned gas station across the street.
A deputy responded but apparently the subject was gone before they arrived. No arrest was made or any indication of theft noted.
