On September 22, 2012 a local resident called to complain that it appears people are living on the old Meadowmont Golf Course.Rumor has it that Supervisor Callaway may have okayed this, so her closest supporters would have a place to live in the "great depression" of Calaveras County.
Nearby residents are not happy with the idea! No one was arrested or cited. Callaway wouldn't allow that! We heard rumors that they were out there shooting their guns, too, since there is no restrictions on gun noise.
