The race for the congressional district next door to us, between Jerry McNerney and newcomer Ricky Gill has come down to a fight for the veterans.
McNerney must feel the heat and has placed an ad reminding everyone that he is a veteran and Ricky Gill is not.
No one like to lose their seat in Congress to a young "whippersnapper".
