The Shockey Fire, which started today, September 23, 2012 around 12:15 PM has grown to 1700 acres as of 10:30 PM per CalFire.
Four residences are confirmed destroyed and evacuations are in effect in the Terra del sol, Jewel Valley and Boulevard areas. 50 homes are currently threatened in eastern San Diego County.
