Finally, after two-thirds of the states in the union already had banned the practice, California has become just a little more humane (and sane)!Governor Brown made it official by signing the bill that bans using hounds to chase and tree bear and bobcat in the State of California yesterday, September 27, 2012.
It's just so sad that all five of OUR Board of Supervisors, along with the local CHS (Callaway's Inhumance Society) were against this bill. They are all a poor excuse for elected officials and for a group that is supposed to be in defense of animals.
