We had a very successful meeting with Frank Bigelow, who is running for State Assembly in the November election.He came to Angels Camp just for this meeting, and told us he would return soon.
Because both candidates are Republicans this is an historic election, that will be decided based on many important issues.
We are compiling his answers to your questions and will post it later. We believe you will be very interested in the results.

I support Bigelow. Because he is more moderate. He supports womens rights. And any democrat who supports Oller has taken two steps forward and 3 steps back. He is simply toooooo extreme.
If he doesn't hunt down and kill the poor bears, i'm for him.
I know that Oller does, and enjoys it.
How come Bigelow didn't attend forums here in Calaveras? Now he's doing phone interviews. Is he afraid of the citizens, voters in Calaveras County? I find it interesting he won't come here, but now, he gets a lot of traction in this county. I for one, want to hear him in a forum with Oller. Let's hear with our own ears what is going on.
Sierra Sentinel would you sponsor a forum for Bigelow & Oller? Maybe the Farm Bureau, Calaveras Taxpayer's Association and My Valley Springs. com would join you.
Perhaps because it is so difficult to get your foot in the door here. Voters are supporting Oller because he is familiar. Bigelow has not been invited to attend a forum. Oller has been endorsed by groups that have NEVER interviewed Bigelow. Bottom line is that Oller is way too far to the right for me and there is no way I am voting for his extremist conservative views and I AM a conservative. I am voting for Bigelow because I do NOT want a candidate who will set womens
rights 40 years backwards.
Bigelow was invited to forums here in Calaveras, but declined to attend.
A forum in Calaveras County with Rico Oller, Frank Bigelow, Mark Belden, Marc Boyd, Kevin Lancaster and Timothy Fitzgerald would have been awesome during the primary election.
Now, we get to hope one or multiples of groups will hold a forum for Bigelow and Oller in Calaveras.

WE know that rico oller is a right winger. we just don't know everything about frank bigelow.
