Energy firm uses 'land grabs' to secure fracking rights

 

  

Chesapeake Energy Corp., the second-largest natural gas producer in the United States, is aggressively using "land grabs" to secure the rights to drain gas and oil from beneath private property -- without having to pay the landowners a penny.
