Another $82,000 in a change order for underground utilities for the jail
is on the Board of Supervisors Agenda for Tuesday, November 27, 2012.
We have some questions about the purpose and why this wasn't bid correctly in the first place. The fact the the Board of Supervisors approved a large amount for change orders from the beginning does not make this okay!
Nearly every meeting now there are more change orders, more money spent on items which clearly should have been taken care of in the initial bid.
This is how these companies come in with a lower bid; then they put in for change order after change order to put them way over the top of other bids in many cases.
Now that Tofanelli is going to be gone, we can just see Callaway, our favorite tax and spend (well, next to Wilensky), along with her 3 new board members in January taxing and spending us further into debt.

Good thing they put that extra large contingency funding into the measure J project.
Of Course. They all know how the game is played.
Have you noticed? The original representative of Kitchell has been replaced with a new person. It appears the original representative is now on the courthouse project. Is anyone checking the change orders on the courthouse?
