Letter to the Editor: About Walk Down Aisle

   Dear Editor:

I want to thank the Sierra Sentinel for not playing politics with the Sheriff and a local family who's son was allowed to walk his sister down the aisle recently.

Their obvious lack of having a good front page story and their desire to help Supervisor Callaway cause Sheriff Kuntz problems after her candidate Ballard lost 2 years ago, is obvious.

You would think the young man in question was a serial killer or something, and that the family was not a well-known and respected one in the County.

For a liberal extremist paper, I know that the only reason they ran with this is because it might hurt Sheriff Kuntz' reputation.

They are usually more liberal than any other publication in the whole area and I get the feeling they would set all criminals free; but not if it could help Callaway politically.

We are wise to you and your political games and we support the Sheriff's decision. Go find a credible story to report.

Longtime Local Family in the Valley Springs area.

I think what he did was commendable. This family is not a flight risk. One sister was even a volunteer at the Sheriff.
I think is despicable to try and make it seem like the Sheriff did something wrong.
I want to thank him.
