CHP is requiring chains on vehicles from Tipton House below Arnold to Bear Valley. The number of traffic accidents in Ebbetts Pass yesterday was hard to believe.Tow trucks loaded with vehicles were heading down the mountain and having to pass new accidents to come back after they unloaded.
We saw a beautiful black Lincoln Navigator, with 4 young men in it, obviously loaded to go skiing, flipped over right in the middle of the eastbound lane.
Now that the storm is over, hopefully today will be quieter as it was dangerous to be out on Hwy 4 yesterday.
