Clayton Chatfield of Mokelumne Hill, passed away on December 23, 2012 in Jackson. He was 86.
Mr Chatfield was born in Nevada City
in 1924 to Clyton and Ada (King) Chatfield. He finished the 8th grade and worked at Calaveras Cement and American Forest Products. He was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by sons Earl Chatfield, of Orangevale and Ray Chatfield of Mokelumne Hill, grandsons Daniel Chatfield of Michigan and Curtis Chatfield of Mokelumne Hill, granddaughters Jenny Chatfield of Modesto and Kathy Chatfield of Mokelumne Hill and one great granddaughter.
Graveside Services/Inurnment will be held on January 3, 2013 at Mokelumne Hill Protestant Cemetery at 12 Noon.
Donations in Mr. Chatfields name may be made to Amador/Calaveras Hospice.
San Andreas Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
