How to avoid Jerry Brown's Cuts to Retirement....

   It seems that the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California found a way around the new law passed in November that executives and managers at public agencies should pay more of their own pension costs, ingenuity was not considered.

   In a move allowed without Board approval, nearly all of the MWDSC became union members. They decided it was cheaper to pay dues and make the public pay for their retirements, in full.
