Several residents in Saddle Creek have forwarded us this e-mail they received from Linda Beck at 10:30 AM January 8, 2013, the day AFTER a scheduled Copperopolis Community Plan meeting.
"The Copper Community Plan Committee meeting was canceled last night. The next meeting will be held Monday February 4th, at 6:00 PM at the Copper Firehouse across from the Copper Post Office.
If you are interested in the future of our community and surrounding areas please plan to attend. For questions or more information contact Dave Haley."
Now that Dave Haley is officially in charge, we see things more clearly. Things must be moving his way at the Planning Department.
This must be how Haley runs these committees. He notifies the public AFTER THE FACT in telling them the meeting was cancelled the day after the meeting. Oh, brother!!!

Yeah, as we Copper mushrooms know, Dave Haley's modus operandi is to "keep them in the dark and feed them sh_ _t"!
The committee has a board. I don't believe Mr. Haley is on the board.
The planning staff does not have time to babysit the committee. The committee needs to put their heads together along with other residents in Copperopolis and get on with it.
Any discussions of the approved subdivisions in Copperopolis should be tabled. They are apparently going thru the foreclosure process.
